We are spreading the word about the upcoming mCORE Foundation preventative heart screenings for students and student athletes taking place at Gahanna Lincoln High School on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 8AM – 4PM.

Some facts about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in young athletes:
· SCA is the 1 Killer of Student Athletes
· Cardiovascular disease is the 2 medical cause of death under 25
· In the US, 1 young athlete dies every 3 to 4 days from a heart condition
· SCA is the leading cause of death on school campuses

This is a very good opportunity for players to have their hearts screened for abnormalities that can cause Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Please see the attached the flyers for full details.
